Welcome to my website. Thanks for stopping by. Charles LeVoile is my pen name for Chain of Evidence, the first novel in a new series of crime and political thrillers. Among other things, before turning to writing, I was a state and federal prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. I have tried cases ranging from murders to sex crimes to drunk driving.
I have also served as a law enforcement instructor and legal advisor. As an instructor, I provided training on criminal law, evidence, search and seizure, and the laws pertaining to the use of force, including deadly force. As a legal advisor, I assisted in the preparation of search warrants and provided advice in the investigation of major crimes.
